A Gothic arch paired with Calacatta turquoise antique marble sets the stage for this House Beautiful Whole Home space.
Of all the spaces in the publication’s 2023 show home, this was the only one that got a full-scale gut renovation. The goal was to open the original kitchen up to create a single expansive space for entertaining and hosting while staying true to the home’s European charm.
Featured in the Winter 2023 issue of House Beautiful.

Behind the range, sliding marble panels reveal a countertop-level pantry for often-used items, such as spices and linens.
Inspired by the distinctive gothic arch in the kitchen windows, we dreamed up a unique hood wall that serves as a focal point in the main area and infused the rest of the space with nature-inspired charm and artistic details, like the floor-to-ceiling natural stone and gold painted Eglomise. Adjacent to kitchen is a secondary prep station where guests can enjoy conversation while chatting with the chef, as well as a beverage station on the other side for entertaining. From every angle, this space is a show-stopper.

The European feel of this home is unique and rich, with a bit of quirkiness. We knew we could not do a typical kitchen.
