Overlooking Kansas City’s famous Country Club Plaza district, this Parisian-inspired condo remodel provided elegance that matched its views.

This kitchen needed to accommodate the client’s exceptional skill and her love of entertaining.
I saw the slabs and fell immediately in love. It was exactly what she needed.
The Francophile remodel infused a Directoire style with modern luxury. Throughout the home, clean lines and crisp color selection are accented by antiqued metals, luxurious surfaces and breathtaking features. The elegance makes a statement, but intentionally soft color selections draw you into each room.

Attention to fabrics, textiles and materials was crucial in the design.
The range of textures provided additional dimensions to the bright space, from a variety of statement mirrors to luxurious fabrics. All the while, it remained important that the client truly loved the look – and feel – of each material, and that they all worked together to tell an elegant story.
The crown molding of the home was not original to the building (or other similar buildings in the area, of that time period), but it was added by a previous owner and provided great accents throughout the home. We added additional panels to complement that craftsmanship and contrasted the soft white with gorgeous wall treatment in each bedroom.

“I sleep better here than anywhere else. It’s so quiet. And I know everything has been designed for our comfort.”
The greatest accomplishment was truly the sense of comfort our client felt in a stunning remodel of a wonderful location. Surrounded by the city, the home provides a place they can welcome friends and family. Each selection was made to not only be beautiful, but inviting, and livable.
